Rubber mat over the rear tunnel

Featured Replies

Has someone found rubber mat over the rear tunnel for Ocu III? There is one for Superb III and one Rapid.

Like this I mean:

Do super skoda stock it?

Was also looking for one. Don't think skoda make one though :(

I'd have one of those in a shot.

I wonder how a Superb one would fit an Octavia.

I sold my Superb and left the mat in it :( I would've tried to cut it to size to fit the Octy. Has anyone done tried that?

Hi Gyuri

When I sold my s3,I took my rear centre Mat protector out.

It's a bit to long, but it's easily cut and does the job.

I only cut the top part of the mat, that fits between the seat and the back of the centre consul.

No need to cut the sides they fit okay.

Thanks Auto1! Assuming you had the mat for s3 right?

Andy that looks awesome but steep for that little piece only. I have the rest of the oem set...

Hi gyuri

Yes i kept my Mat from the S3 superb.

I am sure you can buy this mat its self from superstore.

Hope this helps.

Rather than starting a new topic I thought I'd piggyback on this one - hope that's ok!

Has anyone had experience using these Octava IV tunnel mats in an Octavia III? There are some floppy rubber ones available for the Mk III which seem to have the same part number, but they don't fit as well and don't look as nice. These ones seem to be a sturdier, firmer shape similar to those available for the Superb, Fabia, Karoq etc. and I'm hoping they'd fit the Mk III.

Any guinea pigs in markets that have the Mk IV on sale already who have tried?

I was wondering the same thing as am picking up my 2019 octavia this week. If no one has tried it or has a similar solution from another model then I might give it a go.

Actually I have now ordered the MK4 one and so all being well will post back here after the weekend when I hope to have both the car and the mat.

OK - I had already ordered the MKIV Octavia one, and only got the rubber mats today - so ignoring the fact it needs a good clean, I attach a photo of what it looks like.  It does need the rubber mats to kind of hold it in and the fabia one above may be a better fit although with less coverage.  I will live with it for a bit and see how it goes.

Just ordered the mk4 one by mistake. Actually wanted a mk3.  Then i found this thread. Has the mk4 one been OK in your mk3, CrazyC2022 ?  Or should I try to cancel my order?

Afraid I misread the advert (was written as IIII rather than IV).  Thanks in advance!

I've had one for about 18 months now, it's fine

Thank you ever so much - I really appreciate your help.  I won't cancel my order in that case.  Thanks again.
