ERWIN

Featured Replies

This may not be news to some people, but VAG have online maintenance information sites where you can get workshop manuals etc. called:

ERWINElectronic Repair and Workshop Information service  :nerd:

It is mostly aimed at Independent garages and fleets but also available to private owners who want to do their own repairs.

Just Google "erwin skoda" (or SEAT, VW, Audi) and off you go.    :)

It should be mentioned that most information is not for free.

Personally I paid six euros for one hour access during which I downloaded almost everything relative to my car.

Thanks very much - makes sense now! :-)

I better make sure I have a fast internet connection then;)

On the other thread (in projects) I did mention the charge of about 5 Euro - which is as near to "free" as you're going to get.

+1 ...all the info you need is at your fingertips

One late addition, but nevertheless useful to include in this thread:

You can download a PDF specific to your own car (tied to your VIN) that shows (among other info) the following:

Sales type

Delivery date

Engine/Gearbox codes

Colour/Lacquer codes

...and a FULL list of PR options (not the partial one printed on the stickers, my PR numbers are 180!)
