I downloaded the file as per link. Unpacked it and put it onto a formatted (fat32) sd card. There are a total of 6 items see photo. The system does not recognise the card as an option to install from. I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Hi, I used USB pendrive, maybe try this way.

Amundsen (Octavia Wagon Executive  7/2016)

Are you sure it's a MIB1 Amundsen and not a MIB2 Amundsen? It looks like a MIB2 to me...

Hi,
I had similar problem and only solution that worked for me was connect charger to your car battery and leave it for whole night. When I woke up in the morning it was all done after ''hundred'' restarts.

Good to know, than I'm not only one ;)

I succeeded. I left the stick in the car and made a long road and began to start the installation alone.

The instructions to clear that error are in the information that you should have been sent, but if not here they are:

VCDS CODING:
1) 5F (Infotainment) module, Adaptations, channel: 'Confirmation of installation change'
2) Note your current coding
3) Start Windows calculator and set it to 'Programming mode' and select 'HEX' option
4) Calculation: (current coding) Xor C9D2
5) Change the adaptation channel to the new code (Don't be surprised if it changes back to the original coding, this is normal!)
6) VCDS main screen, 'Auto-Scan'
7) Check for fault codes on all modules and clear the DTCs

Would be interested to know what firmware others have in Amundsen MIB1.

Mine is

Device 5E0035874A

Hardware version: 040

Firmware version: 0435

This is in an August 2014 Built L&K with Canton.

Problems I have are poor zooming on navigation and restricted power output on all audio sources.

Asked a well known West Yorkshire dealer to check for software update at 12 month service. Told there are none

Before I follow up just wanted to find out if there is a later firmware than 0435

Thanks

Think the one i have is slightly later hardware version 041, I put VIN in on the portal and updated the maps on my Amundsen with no issues now version 2018....

Hi all.

I have just bought a 2014 Seat Leon FR 1.8 TSi with MIB1 system.

I wonder if its possible to update the software on it.

I have version 425 software, and original SD card installed.

Thank you for any help.
