Hello all,

Had my Octavia about 18 months now and always planned to make a few subtle changes! Spec as follows

Race Blue 14MY Octavia VRS TDi

Black Pack

Sunset glass

Cruise control

As she stood until recently

I've now put a set of 19x8 et41 Volkswagen Motorsport wheels with 235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres and lowered her on H&R springs.

I've got a Reiger diffuser to fit and then I think I'll be more or less done! Makes for a very good daily driver!

Thanks for the comments guys! Still waiting for my Reiger diffuser! Hermes managed to successfully misplace it so I'm having to go through their claims procedure which is very slow this time of year!

This car really is the perfect car! Massive inside, looks great, goes well and is cheap to run! I was considering selling it and getting an m235i but I don't think I can part with it!

Sneaky photo in the work car park!

They certainly are worthy of consideration but a bit lacking in the space department! The 'fun' factor goes a long way to compensate for that though.

Really am enjoining this car. I keep looking at other cars but nothing ticks as many boxes as the skoda! Decided to spent some money on the old girl so she'll be getting a few tasty upgrades over the next month or so and may even be tempted by a bit of track time to see how it compares to my mx5! Took her to the TT a few weeks ago and embarrassed some much more powerful machinery! 1239ee2f1cd82036f0bc8bac2c889147.jpg

Sadly when parked up to watch the senior she got caught by another road user who kindly drove off without leaving a note! Caught the front bumper and chipped the front left wheel. Hard to notice if you don't know it's there but annoying none the less!! I'm not in a huge rush to get it sorted as the bumper has a few stone chips already and I might get all four wheels done a slightly different shade!! I'll keep this updated when my shiny parts arrive!

Covered about a thousand miles this weekend over to Holland for a wedding and a few nights in Brugge!

Car was faultless and returned 50mpg with 4 people and luggage! We didn't hang about either!

Ended up on the chunnel in front of a yellow mk1 VRS! Tempted to get one as a run around in the next year or so, can't believe how cheap they are!!

So this is the first of three summer modifications I have planned!

Retrimmed standard wheel in alcantara with a white band at 12oclock! My inspiration was the new GTI clubsport wheel and I think it looks pretty good!
