Phone Holder in Cup Holder

Featured Replies

Anyone got the phone/ipod holder that fits into the centre console cup holder. Was going to add one to my order from skodadop. I've got a galaxy note 4 though and not sure it will fit.

Can't see max sizes anywhere, if anyone has one and is near their car with a measure.

that wont fit I don't think. Certainly other ones in the CitiGo and Octavia wouldn't fit a phone of that size. It's really designed for mp3 players which tend to be smaller units.

I have the newest OEM phone/multimedia holder in my Fabia Mk3 and my Xperia Z2 doesn't fit at all.

So your Note has no chance! They are very much built for iPhone 4/5 sized phones and nothing bigger

I had one (from an MkIII Octavia but it fitted my MkII) and the largest phone it would take was an iPhone 5. I think they are all the same size.

Cheers guys. Much appreciated. The size of this phone I could probably lie it between to two cupholders and it wouldn't rattle around anyway

I assume you did not order the phonebox then?

It did just fit into the phone box but no I didn't order it. I had thought about it but read a few opinions on here and no one could actually see any major increase in signal. I added a bit more and went for front parking sensors instead.

I would have been more interested in the wireless charging. SWMBO has the Galaxy S6 (I'll have one by the time car is ready) so that would have come in handy.

I use the sunglasses holder to store my Samsung galaxy 5, with otter case, and it fits in, with room to spare.  the reminder on the columbus, not to forget your phone, is a great help.

I read about the phone reminder in another thread. Even if that had been a £50 option I would have opted for it. Forever leaving phone in the car.

Phone reminder message, appears on the columbus unit. I don't think it is a cost option, rather a message as your phone disconnects, as ignition is turned off.

Yeah I know it's built into the Columbus, I was just saying had it not been; it's the sort of thing I would have paid for as I always leave my phone in the car.

Hi guys. I think there is something new from Skoda but I can't find part number anywhere. New version of mobile holder which is bigger.

Below are pictures of Octavia and Rapid from German Skoda configurator and if anyone finds the part number it will be highly appreciated... I will try tomorrow with my local dealer here in Croatia...

That would not fit the MKIII Superb as the cupholders are totally different.
