Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has fitted some aftermarket parking sensors (the type that you can get from Ebay) and what the actual minimum operating range is?

 

For background, I don't have a driveway and parallel park on the street every day.  Spaces are in short supply, and the gaps are 'small'  What i'm interested in is a unit that will actually let me know when there is, say, 10cm behind me.  Just about all of the units that I have seen appear to give up at 30cm. That's the difference between parking outside my door and two streets away...

 

Anyone have any experience with these?  Cheers!
