Phone shortcuts is 5 the maximum?

Featured Replies

My HTC M8 works well enough but I can only see a maximum of 5 shortcut icons on the display.

Am I only allowed to know 5 people?

The others are in the long list but it's far too dangerous to navigate when you're on the move.

Just swipe sideways mate, theres more

only 5 after all. Are you thinking of radio presets timbox?

There is only 5 I believe from when you press the phone button on the head-unit but you can set these in your settings to be your 5 favourite contacts (The people you would call the most) the rest are accessed via contacts as you have found out ;)

No mate, I can swipe and see another 5, so 10 in total, I'll try and take a couple of pics today, my car is brand new with Amundsen, maybe an update?

Only five on my Amundsen....

Here you go, this is the second screen, note the No 10 on final shortcut. Maybe its phone related?

What model year of car have you got Timbox? Possibly changed when the MIB2 came out?

Oh yes, mines definitely MIB2, car is 2 weeks old, built sometime October 2015 I believe. Yeah, forgot about the MIB1/2 thing I assume all O3's are the same.

Mib1 Columbus only has 6. I just checked.

I get 5 but if I press contacts I can scroll through the entire list of fifty or so numbers,
