Recommend me some W5W or CANBUS cancellors

Featured Replies

Well spent half an hour today swapping over the battery on our pre-FL Octy II 4x4 and decided while I was there I'd stick some new CANBUS LEDs in the sidelights to replace the old LEDs that had started to flicker and throw error messages.

Messed about a bit trying to try and get them working but eventually realised that even though they are CANBUS  and have resistors (have checked) the car didn't like them...   they'd come on for about 5 seconds then CANBUS would cut the power...

Hence I'm currently back to W5W filament glow-worms and will use the LED's I have in the Civic as and when the current ones need replaced.

So - any recommendations for decent long lasting LED 5W5's or error cancellors small enough to fit in the headlight alongside a London Colour 35w HID kit?  Preferably Cree and not christmas tree breadboard jobbies...

Cheers

Just checked again and it looks like I may have dropped clanger... The detailed description says NOT Canbus error free so it sounds like I mis-read it... So new ones or cancellers it is...
