After my upcoming lottery win, I'll be buying a Ford GT (if I can find one), a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR (daily runner) and a TVR Tuscan S for the weekends. May get a Disco 3 for the missus to do the school run in, and I can take it offroad for a play when she's not driving it :D

Chris

When I win the lottery my dad said he would like a new R32, so thats what he'll be getting! :D

As for me, I'll keep the Clio, and maybe think about getting an Evo, Noble M12, and maybe a Ferrari F40 to finish it off :D

Nah, seriously I honestly dont know. Not really expecting to keep the Clio more than 2 years or so TBH. So I honestly dont know what I'll get. Might have to be something radically different, maybe a proper RWD sports car, but it would have to be quite inexpensive. Still I guess the 350Z might be affordable in a couple of years :D but who knows....

I quite like the Lexus IS200. It's growing on me for sure.

i'm after a good bag of giblets

Next car.........well after what I have spent on the fabia so far I'm keeping it for the next 4-5 years, by which time the market has changed.

But if I was going to change it my list would be:

CTR

Subaru Impreza STi

Audi RS4

None of which are really in my price range lol!

for me it has to be:

The Nissan Pathfinder

Nissan X-Trail

Discovery

Range Rover Sport

Hyundai Santa Fe {new model out shortly with 7 seats test drive iminent}

Mitsi Shogan Warrior Sport

Fraid I am going to the 4x4 side next, but need to find a way to keep my vRS too LOL.

Well - this is hard but when I bought the baby (12v) furbie I looked at a Picanto and a getz - and the getz nearly won on price (was going to be under

porsche 911 :)

:D a lamgo Gallardo spider!!!

Subaru Legacy 3.0R Spec B:D

I can honestly say that I can't think of a single car this side of 30k that fulfils my criteria at this present time. I've spent a few quid on the Furby, and it is such a complete package, that it would take some beating. I'm not loyal to Skoda, this is my first one, but genuinley can't think of anything I would like more.

If I HAD to get rid and buy a non skoda vehicle, then an R32 would be on the list, an ST Focus maybe, new shape Subaru, or maybe a departure into something pure, like an ariel atom, caterfield type thing. I only have a car for driving pleasure, and the cost of running the Fabia means I can drive alot further, so I would have to think very carefully to get an equally satisfactory package as the one I already have.

My dad and i got taken for a drive in one about 2-3months ago while we were looking at the 2.0l Legacy. holy **** its faaast!

Comfortable too.

I have no cars lined up within the next 3years, but if i could have any car it would be a Audi RS6.. anyone need a reason why?

Very well put Dave

Plan is to have current car for at least 4 more years. Then it will depend on what I require from a car, what I need to carry about etc etc...

Quite fancy a VAG-group 4WD diesel next. A3 Quattro TDI appeals, as does an Octavia if they choose to offer the 2.0 TDI with 4x4. Would quite like VW/Audi/Skoda to get their act together and get the DSG 'box working with Quattro/Haldex system.

Can't see me moving from a diesel next TBH - excels in 90-odd % of situations for me.

And if I had the extra money, I'd love an Elise or similar sports-orientated open top car for weekends/sunny days :D

Steve

I'd like an Evo 9 (or less, not the thing they've produced now) or an RS4. I think.

Not that I could afford it, so perhaps a Civic, or A3.

Tuscan S if the Lottery goes my way.

Seriously thinking about chopping the octy and buying an Audi A8 4.2 Quattro Sport or an S8...

Awesome, Awesome machines.

WRCSixtyThree -> If you are seriously thinking about it.. it means you can afford it.. which means why arn't you at the dealers tomorrow?

I like octys but its hardly a match for an A8 4.2 Quattro..

A friend's dad has only just chopped his 95N A8 4.2 Quattro for a new style 3.0 model, and it was still as sweet as a nut with 120k+. Seriously nice car, I loved it. Silver, all the toys, leather - looked the business.

Can be picked up for very decent money these days, the fuel consumption may worry though. I think that's why they're comparitively cheap at present - fuel and running costs.

Still lust for one though...

Steve

You got me looking :o and I did my normal local search on 'Trader and found an S8 for £7.5k within a few towns of here!!!

No idea on mileage, it's not mentioned - likely to be sky-high but bimey, what a car for the money!!!

Steve

would have to be an Arial Atom

Serious:

New shape Passat Estate, in black with privacy glass, chrome roof rails, chrome door handle and crome trim round the windows.

That Volve they had on 5th Gear this week.

In the ideal world:

DC5 Integra Type R from Japan via Litchfield Imports.

BMW M5

Lottery.....................................BMW M3 CSL

Reality......................................Ford Focus ST

The 2006 Civic Diesel is the only other one getting serious consideration , but it's not perfect for me in a couple of ways (no opening sunroof , and non-replaceable stereo) so I'm reserving judgement yet.

That said , the new Octy isn't perfect either (The diesel engines are either too slow or too thirsty , and replacing the stereo isn't as simple as the Mk1) so I might start looking for a third option
