Just been overtaken in a 30, but 2 bikes doing 40-50mph right over the right-hand turn where i turn into my road.

Slowed down until the went past before i could turn right.

Getting new boots for the street t today, opting for Dunlop roadsmart 3. The latest generation that are supposedly awesome in the wet n grease. She doesn't do many miles so should last forever.

Nothing gory just a drink with an old work mate from my days in Grimsby.  He and his Mrs came over and stayed the night so a meal and several beers were partaken.  It also meant a very late night/early morning finish which we are not used to. If I have been drinking like that I never drive or ride the next day as I know how long it takes to rid the blood of the alcohol.

 

No headache either so watched the World Superbikes and did some more gardening but I don't think I want a drink tonight!    Jane has another three days off so a run out on the TEX beckons and that will mean cake.

Anyhoo... nearly time for my traditioal games of silent scope in th arcade, in honour of a smooth crossin.

only time in 15 yrs i didnt do it, the sailing was horrific... people looked like zombies by the time we docked in belfast.. I wasnt one of them

Not me, but if you see the 'Wild Hogs' floating about onboard just walk up to them, ask which one is 'Uncle Dave' then say "hu that figures, you're the Charlie Bowman wannabe then" and walk away (might need to be a good swimmer).
