For sale I have both the passenger and drivers side wing mirrors with part numbers 1Z2 857 507 M & 1Z2 857 508 M.

 

This does not have the covers but DOES include the original glass. This was removed from my 2012 Skoda Octavia vRS Estate when I had wing mirrors with puddle lights and dimming glass fitted.

 

No cracks or issues with this at all.

 

 

 

 

I am looking for £150 £125 inc P&P.

Also these do NOT have the puddle lights in them - I removed these to fit another set which had puddle lights, that was sold with my Octavia.

Cam the puddle lights be fitted to them and is the wiring there for them, also is wiring there for dimming?

These are just a standard set. Best person to speak to would be Eddie-NL (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/user/47243-eddie-nl/) as he done all the work on my Octavia.

For FL models the following applies:

 

- There are only really two different mirror bases, they either have powerfold motors or don't (LHD/RHD differences aside) - everything else is additional wires and parts that can be added.

- Puddle lighting can be added with the addition of two wires with bulb socket, a new plastic base plate (with a cutout for the light) and the bulb enclosure.

- Dimming mirrors are pretty similar, again two more wires with the correct connectors and the dimming mirror (very expensive).

- Memory motors can also be added with a few (3/4?) extra wires, a new connector and the memory motor itself. This will allow reverse dip and per key mirror positions.

 

There are also different versions of door controllers in the FL. Before adding puddle lighting, powerfold or memory motors you need to check it's supports those functions - if it doesn't you'll need a new door controller as well. Dimming mirrors are controlled directly from an auto dimming rear view mirror so door controller versions don't matter

 

The mirrors for sale are electrically adjustable and heated but do not support powerfolding, puddle lighting, dimming mirrors or memory motors unless you add the additional wiring/parts.

 

For the pre-FL:

 

I *think* they would physically fit on to the car but you would have some work to do on the electrical side.

 

I've not had any direct experience but I know the connectors used differ between pre-FL/FL mirrors and they have different door control modules. I'm not sure if the mirrors are similar enough that a pre-FL door controller could control a FL mirror as the mirror motors are different too.

 

Final thing to note is that you would need new covers as there are much bigger on the FL.
