  • With 22 pages of thread to read through, I must confess I haven’t bothered BUT have actually now had a test drive of a Model 3 and thought I’d share the impressions here.   As a background,

  • I got quite angry about the luxury car tax thing yesterday morning and cancelled. If they can bring a version in under that 40k threshold I might jump back in. Keeping an eye on the VW ID too.

So many of these YouTube kids are really **** drivers. How do you reverse into a car with parking sensors and a reversing camera? Does he even have a licence? Genuinely despair at what people think is an acceptable level of driving these days. Handy to know that Teslas are just like other cars and can be repaired. 🙄

I've seen that video before but it still makes me smile how petrified noisy the owner is!

That from looks like something out of frogger. Something eating, hungry about it, Pokemon-esq

id still have it over the bmw grill, which doubles up as a bbq grill.

Looks to me like a man who is not really happy at the outcome and keeping the car.

I watched that video, I'm a subscriber to his channel. Interesting that Tesla routing is prioritising less stops over quicker route. ABRP is the way to go it seems.

The newer 2021 octovalve heatpump Model 3 should be even more efficient.

Real world!

Sales rep / car salesperson type use heating and ventilation for just a driver in a car.

Around 200 miles without all seats occupied in the cars.

Yes I read about this new Fleet version of the Model 3 which would, initially, just be sold to "fleet" and I presume that could mean salary sacrifice systems like Octopus is running.

Expect to be released sooner after Fleet release especially if sales are not massive due to recession across Europe.  As long as TELSA squeezes out most sales by those older mainly ICE selling manufacturers so TESLA hastens their demise to bankruptcy then it is job done even if profits are lower for a while.

I think the model 2 can be bought forward to late 2024 now that much cheaper sodium and cheaper lithium batteries are happening due to the big drop in lithium prices and cheapness of sodium making a $25K small TESLA possible ie 22k Euros and £20k price point.
