I swapped mine with something like that and the drone was awful. Swapping just the backbox silencers did the same thing. Luckily there’s enough space under the Superb to fit 2 mid silencers, but I never understood it really as the factory one is straight through, just with perforated pipe inside and baffles in the casing. I don’t understand why, it’s stupid and doesn’t make sense to me 

center resonator is not straight through, but I agree that it makes no sense to replace it in your case
