Very pleased with the boost space

Featured Replies

With my driving position a little cramped I did manage to get my new doors in. Very impressed. I like it when i can save the ball ache of having things delivered.

A washing machine fits in the boot of the estate with the seats up... I also enjoy not having to wait for things to be delivered :)...

Having just bought a Superb, and I too having a penchant for carrying very big things around, I do believe this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

3 large dogs, a cat in a carrier and a TV were in my estate last week - and I left the rear seats up. Beats the hell out of my previous car (525d Estate).

First car i have owned where passengers fight to sit in the back. They love the legroom.

I love the boot space too, managed to get all the band gear in for a gig the other month. I do wish the car was a bit wider...

Yes you're right , another 10 cm would be great. That's why I fund my mondeo better for boxy loads due to its extra width

The extra width would be nice - I have to take one of the side storage doors off to allow a bike to fit in the boot with the wheels off (For the odd time I need the back seats - I just throw bikes in with the seats down all the time), but at the same time it fits comfortably down the narrow medieval streets in Cork city at the current width - I'm not sure it'll do that if the car gets 10 cm wider.

That's why I kept my Mondy wagon, when I bought my Twin-door, it was a much better estate car than the Superb.

I still miss it, but I don't seem to need an estate anymore.

Great pasttime - going to Ikea, sit in the restaurant with a free coffee, and watch a couple park 3 trolleys that hold a kitchen, 4 double beds, small garden shed, a railway bridge and 8 dining room chairs.

And then hubby goes and fetches the Fiat Punto and proceeds to try to load a plastic plant and a candle, while being berated by wifey 'I TOLD YOU IT WOULD NEVER FIT'

I pushed the front seat right forward, lowered the backrest, forded the back rests of the rear seats and got in one of these inside the car:

It's 2300 x 600 x 300 mm. Actually, I did it twice as a I bought a second one a year or so later and sold the first!

My neighbour has a bmw 3 estate. It's titchy , his kid was there as I opened the tailgate of the skoda and said whoaaa, look how much room you have lol

I moved the entire contents of my garden shed over the weekend with just one trip in my Superb! It included an old wardrobe, four or five old kitchen units I was using as storage along with a huge amount of old paint tins and all the other crap that you'd accumulate.

I've tried bring a railway bridge home, but it wouldn't fit.....................

I had to buy the kit instead & assemble it at home.
