I've had my previous Citroen c5 diesel (aka the tank ) for 10 years and WOW is all I can say. Things have moved on a little in the automotive industry that's all I'll say.

Simply blown away with how the car drives and all the mod cons it has to offer. Really glad I chose a Skoda and the performance on the vrs brings a smile to my face. Although I'm trying to keep the foot a bit lighter until I've ran it in for 600 miles or so. ( can't promise tho! )

Looking forward to being a part of the Skoda community and getting the much needed help and advice from yourselves as I'm hopeless with mechanics.

Make sure you check you oil and levels as you run it in, they can use a bit of oil in the first few 1000 miles. Or get your dealer to do it if you are 'hopeless' at that sort of thing.

 

Check your tyre pressures also and recalibrate the TPMS, as garages tend to over inflate tyres.

Welcome to the club... I'm awaiting my first skoda as well.. it's going to built next week (week 31) and my dealer reckons it will be delivered at the middle of the month..
