Superb S3 Spotted in Phoenix USA.........

Featured Replies

A 280bhp plus 4x4 petrol with a electric motor somewhere to give 40 co2 would be ideal pls skoda.

Would be great, but with the new VTED duties coming in for cars registered after April 2017 it would still cost 7 times more to tax a year than the Superb I have on order will, even though that has over 2x the emissions of this fantasy car. Silly, retrograde step

Are you sure the big SUV is going to be called Kodiak? I've read several times its name will be Snowman. Even if you visit autoscout24.es, it appears between the Skoda model range, although it has't been released yet.

Skoda have only confirmed trying to Trade Mark that name world wide and the CEO said several weeks ago,

Give me a few days to confirm it.

But Briskoda has a KODIAQ Section which was started as the KODIAK section before editing,

so like Doris sang.

Que Sera Sera the futures not ours to see.

The future is for us to see. Electric cars WILL take over.

Indeed.

At the moment Volkswagen USA have had to recall those they sold for software updates due to ones cutting out,

but as we know the Manufacturers that was the number 1 biggest in the world for 6 months last year will get a grip sometime.

So currently the Electric Car / Hybrid in front will be a Toyota, or maybe some other manufacturers, and sometime it might

be from a German Manufacturer building engines in Hungary or even China.

The Mk6 Superb is rumoured to have hover boards in the doors rather than umbrellas and will be built in Dunmurry.

My flight school sends its trainee pilot over to Arizona for the visual flight rules section of the course. I remember there were two very large vehicle proving grounds in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area - one just north of the White Tank Mountains and one just south of Maricopa - which I often used to confirm my position and timing.

Perhaps the Superb 3 was using one of these tracks? (though I'm unsure if car manufacturers allow other manufacturers use of their tracks, these two currently owned by Ford and Nissan).

So to revive this thread.

Reuters have a story on the go that Skoda CZ are evaluating selling Skoda in North America.

So time will tell, but this was a thread where that idea was being poo pooed.
