Managed a quick test with Waxaddict Quartz last night with the .:R36.   Polished up a couple of panels, then panel wipe, some EZ Granite sealant left to cure...   ...then to finish!

Haha! I keep hinting at a new car but the missus keeps saying it's her for a new car first so I'm waiting!

Oh... would you consider it?

Totally - it is always immaculate and garaged when not bing used.

He has spent a fair few £££ on it since he bought it too.... but he doesnt use it enough.

If it was the bigger 3.0 engine i could have been tempted perhaps.... shame.

What's in it?! It sounded like the 3.0 with the sports exhaust on it!

Well as it happens - the guy in question/discussion put me and Karl onto the Waxaddict products;

and provided some free samples as well in the first instance.... gave me the idea to start the thread

and share with you guys.

Very nice chap actually, but not a Skoda owner...yet! He is due a new company car at the end of 2016 though

Tedious link or not....? No issue with the discussion on my thread.

Very tenuous Ste, however Z4's are nice but you need the 3.0 or the 3.2 Z4M ;)

Now you are talking....  Z4M

Very Glossy! Nice one Ste! How did you find it to work with?

Thanks for the comment Neil.

Quartz is very nice in terms of application.....

Loading on to the handi-puck applicator is a doddle - using a quarter turn of the pad adds plenty.

The wax blend seems quite oily in consistency and spreads like butter - no issues here at all.

Due to the oily nature - it is trickier to judge cure times - or so i found.

I tried different cure times on 2 panels. I left it too long on one panel; but

when its applied thinly - this is still not too much of an issue at all.

I also tried a 2nd coat on the boot panel and the slickness was noticably better.

Great Review! It's certainly left a great finish that's for sure!
