Why James Corden was awarded an OBE. As far as I can tell he's done sweet FA. IMO he's not even funny.

From what i can tell...

Gavin and Stacey had some good moments.

it got waaaay too much praise for what it really was.

as a result of that, the UK decided he was a comic genius (not the only unfunny k***end to get this undeserved accolade in my opinion) and so... for some reason the powers that be have decided hes a good chap done good and so deserves it...

Far too many gongs given out making them less special than they are.

 

I used to think it was an achievement to receive such an award, now it is just a waste of bloody time due to all the useless people (in my opinion) they hand these out to. Each time it is almost like there is a quota to be filled rather than giving to those who really deserve it.
