The 230 Club, who's in...............

Got the VRS for another year yet and that's no hardship ! The Leon ST is worth a look, yes would prefer manual, not an automatic lover, had no choice with the Audi and gradually getting used to it. The Golf R is a bit boring, definitely wolf in sheep's clothing, it just looks drab. And at the price is getting too close to a A4 Quattro Avant. Hopefully they will see sense and put the 280 4wd into the VRS. Should have done that before the Superb in my opinion, it would sell very well in a VRS, it doesn't in the Superb.

I live in the North East, we have lots of hills and usually get snow although not been a lot the last couple of winters. They haven't gone mad with the width of the VRS tyre being 235, so expected better, a lot better. I have got to admit I just cannot see or tell what the fancy diff does or what difference it makes, it certainly doesn't lock the drive to both wheels even when stuck stationary in snow, it acts no different to a normal diff, one wheel or the other. Maybe mine doesn't work?

  • No. I got the 230 for the diff and financially it made sense based on the other kit you get thrown in vs a 220. Spec a 220 with to match a 230 and it'll cost you more. The additional 10bhp was irrelev
