ive added a few extras to mine this week rear door sill covers and front and rear mudflaps. I also painted the hubs black to finish the look off better and whilst the wheels were off i coated them in carpro dlux to keep them looking good for longer.

Can anyone tell me if part de-badging a new vrs230 will effect the price I get for it at the end of 3 year pcp deal? I would like to remove the writing but leave the Vrs logo but don't want to loose value on the car.

The 230 has just been released in Australia with the first local reviews being fairly complimentary.

Apparently only 70 were planned to be sold although initial demand has indicated they may request another 30 vehicles.

 

Demand will be limited as only the manual version will be offered due to our hot climate and the DSG would require expensive engineering to cater for it.

More than 80% of vehicles sold here are automatics so that would limit demand.

 

With only 10 more bhp than standard that sounds like a load of bull manure especially as a lot of hot VW Golf GTI are sold here and also the full monty  4WD Superb.

Mine is finally at the dealers. 5 months all but since order.

 

I can't wait. Pick up is scheduled next Wednesday followed by a trip to the detailers for a new car prep and some paint film.

I didn't know they came in different colours

I've just asked for the stickers to be fitted when its going back in for some work to be done next week.

black or red thats the choice or should i say whats available my car didnt come with them so i asked the dealer to order them in for me. it seems in the past that white cars came with the red stickers looks better with the black in my opinion

Pick up my fully loaded white 230 DSG hatch on the 19th. It's a 65 plate, registered in Jan 16 ... it was an ex-dealer car and an absolute steal.

Tempted to wrap the spoiler in black vinyl, but not sure how it'd look on a moon white car. Might have to take a photo then Photoshop it!
