I still love the Rosso Brunello on mine. I don't expect to change it prior to retiring in a smidge over 14 years time but I hope by then they'll have more selection on the Mk8 or what ever model they'll be up to.

14 years time will probably be mk 4 mid term revamp by then if you are lucky....(vag have got to somehow get their billions back from the emissions scandle!) and will probably have even less colours...black, grey, silver and white....yawn!!

I don't think that this is a manufacturer issue, but rather the Importer. I wonder if Skoda UK are a separate business from the actual manufacturer, even if they might be called: "Skoda UK"

 

Spot on. skoda uk are not 'skoda'. Most aspects of skoda uk are all outsourced too, it varies, but support, marketing etc alot is. So each model has a UK spec person assigned to select it's available to market configuration.

 

They pick the options we get to pick. If she ( it was for the superb ) does not like pastels or feat. x, then we won't get them... Ok it's a little more scientific than that. But every available option has to be picked for each importer to play to the markets strengths and budgets. Then there is work with the factory to make sure they work for us over here. Classically why rear power sockets do not appear.

I've been surprised how much I like Magnetic Brown Metallic and with the Beige Leather interior it looks really classy, have received numerous positive comments on the colour combination and the car in general.
