Today is the day we will answer some long standing questions......... Bengie (Octavia 4x4, Jabba remap and other mods), Myself (Octy Elegance, Jabba remap) and Jonny5ive (Fabia VRS, AMD one-click switchable remap) are having a little drag race on the airfield.

It should give us a good laugh and the whole thing will be recorded for your viewing pleasure.

My prediction of the finishing order is:

2nd Me

3rd Jonny5ive

But it should be pretty close.

I'd be shocked if the Fabia wasn't blown away with the highish topspeeds you're gonna be hitting - but have a fun time & looking forward to it

Estimated top speed for me at the end of the run is 130mph

Jonny 5, handbrake on, 2nd gear 2K ish revs then pull away, trust me...

It's not clutch friendly but you can get a sh.it hot pull away with that, have a few practises first though so you dont stall :P

My colleague is considering acting as camera car in his WRX. But he is likely to change his mind before then.

Jonny5ive and I moth have camera mounts in our cars. I've told him to have it pointing forwards otherwise you wont see the Octavias.

Why didnt you choose a Fabia vRS (no offence Jhonny) that has had a filter, and a custom map? You have picked the amd one click, with "safe" power, so you will both win with your vans. Shocking.

I don't think Phil 'chose' the Fabia it was more a case of who was willing/able to attend.
