new roomster!!

Looks like a Toyota.

What are thinking with the roomster? Yeah it's different, but that side view - eww

Oh My God! I Am So Not Even Thinking Of It As My Third Car If Thats What Its Gonna Look Like!!!

Hard to say without seeing the front, which seem quite short similar to Ford Fiesta, Yaris etc

The front wil have similar lines to the Octavia 2 with the wide grill.

Were not the first to have the platform this time. The new Ibiza launches in April (IIRC) which will be mechanically identical to the Fabia. A Czech work collegue of mine has seen test mules of the new Fabia around the factory which are pretty thinly disguised and says it looks nice, good air of quality about it.

Im sure it will sell well when it arrives.

Furbie......uuummmm maybe .....roomster .......yeeeaaaaaacccccccchhhhhhh:thumbdwn:

I like it - but fingers crossed for the 3-door!

the fabia looks like a Suzuki Swift...and it looks horrible.

I won't even bother with the Roomster.

What is wrong with Skoda Design?

Can see alot of the old fabia in it.... its got a bit of a 206 rear to it and what looks like a roomster/new mini roof meets windscreen thing going on at the front.

Can't say i'm taken by the in a sense upside down windows

New one is straight at the top and curvs upwards at rear from bottom and doesn't follow the roof line slope of the rear of the car:

Where as the fabia now has a much nicer window line and follows the roofline of the car and doesn't do the strange curve up from the bottom on the rear window quartre:

However.... untill i see real photos I can't really comment more.. but for now.. I don't like it. :)

I agree with the suzuki swift comment above, the pic doesnt look to bad though. We will just like the new octy 2 have to wait to see the car in the flesh, usually pics dont do a new car justice.

All new cars will now adopt the tall approach, mostly due to euro legislation which dictates the distance between the engine and the bonnet.

no coment on the fabia

roomster looks like a cut and shut of a fiat multipla with bmw frontlights

Oh My God! I Am So Not Even Thinking Of It As My Third Car If Thats What Its Gonna Look Like!!!

its funny thats what the car said when it saw your avatar.....:D:rofl::thumbup:

Looks like the old Fabia too much

Ooh.Skoda seems to be targeting the pensioners market again.

The Blue rinse roomster.Yak

Reminds me of Golf 1 v 2.

Golf 1 was sharp Golf 2 was ugly - not as crisp.

Not much of an advance like Felicia to Fabia - shame.

Hopefully it means run out VRS' will be at the same bargain price as the Octy 1 VRS.

Eg Octy 1 VRS - New Price was

I am so glad I am getting my Fabia before that monstrosity arrives on the market and as for the Roomster thing, that's even worse :thumbdwn:
