Why are people allergic to looking after their cars

It was great for the first 12 miles...

:D

Blimey, what are you doing with them? :o:D

My first was a mk4 Astra, had an oil leak and as I was a new driver I binned it after 2 weeks. Moved onto a mk5 astra and loved it...till it got a HGF. This had happend before and not fixed properly so I basically inherited it with a hatful of problems. Ended up the dealer gave me a choice of a new engine or a new car.

I chose a Chevy Lacetti 1.8 Sport. Car was amazing...except the fuel. Was 110 quid in 1 week getting to work and back...27mpg on the motorway. Managed to get him to give me a decent price and then git my Fabia. Easily the best car I've had.

Few small things that need sorted but nothing like I've had previously woth the other cars

I could list my cars here but there isn't enough ink in my keyboard :) my first car proper however was a mk1 Opel Kadett 1.2 automatic. Didn't have a licence or feck all at the time. As an apprentice Hgv mechanic at the time it was great to work on. Huge bonnet tiny engine and rear wheel drive. You could have a dinner for a family of four under that bonnet. Built like a tank too. Pity the sills weren't though. Took for its mot to see what it needed, none of your pre mot checks here thanks, and it was great, right up until he put his fingers clean through both sills :(

On the way back the police tried to stop me for a roadside check and 10 minutes later it was in the scrap yard, none of your forensic traceability then either.

Those were the days. If you didn't stop for a roadside check they just pulled in the next car.

I'm old.
