Superb Estate Tyres required

Featured Replies

Hi all - just thought I'd tap in to the expertise on here.

My 62 plate dsg 170bhp tdi needs four new shoes very soon. Budget sensitive of course, but wanting good bang for my buck - anyone have particular favourites out there? Any well priced suppliers also welcomed :) Many thanks!

Uniroyal RainSport 3 :)

I agree.

Uniroyal RainSport 3

£55.70 each.

Excellent hold in wet or dry.

But have a reputation for wearing quickly.

I would suggest Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance or Dunlop Sport BluResponse. If you can't stretch to that then Falken ZE914s are a reasonable tyre

Goodyears for me, got 4 for £315, very good grip, and wear seems pretty good and even

I was pleased with Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance on my previous car in a smaller size. Quiet and economical but with plenty of grip.

Thanks all so far :)

Think they're 225/40/ZR18's?

Uniroyal RS3's, fantastic all rounder

Hankoook H452 Ventus S1 Noble is my choice of good brand and not too expensive. I don't recommend Falken ZE912

I am in New Zealand though so 'european' tyres will be better priced than here.

I always use hankooks

Thanks all. I can get those Uniroyals delivered up to maybe Inverness for around £25 or home for £50. Fitting / balancing / old tyre disposal on top of that. Blackcircles have the Good Years all in for £79 each.

Does anyone work with topcashback? Just wondered if there was a deal to be had there perhaps...
