Hi all, just a quick update and apologies for the delay.   Bilstein have confirmed to me verbally that they will give a discount to Briskoda which will work out cheaper than the aforementioned price

Did someone say B12 Group buy?!

Lol, might be a long wait...

I have a gb ready to go, but waiting for admin to respond to me.

You've had no response in over a month?   :/

That's pretty poor.

Nothing yet. I'll send another message and see what happens. Will keep you posted.

Can you even say what price it's likely to be before we all get very excited?? :)

I'm not sure if I can to be honest, probably best to wait until approval of the GB first. However I do know the prices already and have done for some time now...

I have sorted my suspension...Shame

Watching this :)

Is it worth us contacting the mods also?

The b12 along with superpro front wishbone bushes made all the difference to the MK2 octy and transformed it from a higher mileage car (over 100k at the time) to a great car that was a lot more fun to drive, better handling and a lot more comfortable to be in over poor roads.

What's not to like

As for the drop links IIRC ECP and GSF both sell the lemforder ones.

Are there any other bushes I should be changing whilst it's all in bits?  The car has 74k on it and I'm pretty sure they've never been replaced.

I know I need new RARB bushes, so will probably order some new powerflex ones for that.

That's a long time for admin to come back, surely they've lost the request or marked it as complete or something?

Hmmm. :wonder:

I'm sure that there's been some miscommunication somewhere as I can't see any Group Buys awaiting approval so please follow the rules posted here and we'll check it out.

Thanks john999boy, appreciated.

Good price, but I still can still get it cheaper elsewhere. I wonder if they price match?

Where? Only a few quid cheaper on German eBay by the looks of it...

Seems pretty good price with a minimal freight charge and local supply. Now, how to raise the £600...............

What's the price you can get this kit for?

What's the price you can get this kit for?

~560 Euros.  The problem I have is that my MOT is due in 2 weeks so I really need to order today preferably.  It's borderline whether or not my leaking front shocks would fail it :(

If you order through their shop via email instead of eBay they'll do it for 560 Euros + £10 postage.  I've emailed Regal to see if they'll match the 25% off they had last month.

Ok no problem, I can get them to you by Monday or Tuesday the latest depending on time of order today. Do you want me to PM you?

Hi Yas. Thanks for the offer. I've ordered the kit from Regal, so I should be getting it this week or next.

I've got the powerflex lower mount insert, all the bolts/nuts, strut mounts and bearings.  The only things left to order now are drop links (do I really need new ones?) and any bushes that should be replaced.

The reason you replace the drop link if they are worn or you can't get the nut off and need to use a angle grinder to whip them off. You could have a go a undoing bolt attached to the shock before going ahead to purchase new ones. You will need a spline bit and plenty of wd40 overnight helps too.
