Hello i was wondering if anyone knows if their is a way of getting a cable from inside the car foot well to the front of the inside of the car.

sounds a daft idea but might look good if it works. I'm planning on putting two small red led strip lights inside the grill area so when i press the button to unlock the doors the interior light come on and the puddle lights, now if i can do this the front of the car should glow red inside the grill when i unlock the car then go off when i drive (as this would be frowned upon by the police). i know if i wire it from the foot well light it works but i need this wire to go into the engine bay to the light. any ideas or would this be daft.

As long as you remember to disable your footwell lights being on when you have the headlights on..... Otherwise the red lights in the grille will also be lit when the headlights are on.

yea i never drive with the on anyway but thanks for that.

You could use a relay on a switched live so once your ignition is on then the lights go off.

but wouldn't that stay on all the time when i leave the car?

when i did wire it up to the foot well light locked the car then unlocked it lights came on, did look good then i started the car lights go off. so need it like this. if that makes sense.
