Iam getting sick and tierd of being called a grandad due to me owning a skoda, even though its the hot hatch fabia vrs.

so i thought id try and put and end to it by getting a poll done. I hope to prove the under 25's are going to be higher than they think.

Ooops, clicked the wrong option but will help gtjunior achieve his aim lol

Will still be 18 when mine arrives

38 - Sorry

20

edit: bought when 19

21 - ordered when 19 though, arrived when 20.

But technically, that means I also fall into the 50 and under category

Very sorry

40 years young here...

34 :)

Oops! Clicked the wrong one - I'm 27!!! :o

Just ignore them! Have you taken them out for a spin yet? That might help :D

Oh, and I'm in the 25 and under section

And actually, have never been accused of buying an old man's car. A cheap man's VW, a tractor, a taxi yes - but never something driven by old people! Although nearly every Fabia I've ever seen on the road has been driven by someone in the winter of their years!

I started out as the typical boy racer pug 106 with loud stupid everything, there still on that, in there 1.2petrols making noise and getting no where and thinking there cool. They have been in the vrs and ive trusted one mate to drive it, and he was very impressed and had the big smile you get, but he still said nice but still a skoda.

Who cares, did you buy it to impress them?

im 19 and get told the same thing that i own a grandads car....from ma brother mainly who drivers a 406 hdi of all things.. but he always wants to drive it

Spot on - who gives a t0ss what they think? :P

It wouldn't be as good for us if everyone bought them!

I think you buy any car to impress other people but i didnt buy the Fab VRS to impress my mates i wanted somthing different and that went like a rocket. Its a very sly car is the fab vrs people dont think its anything special but then u plant your foot down and away you go. id love to know what the chipped Vrs are like but the standard 130 puts a big smile to me.

Yup, a remapped vRS is very fun indeed :D

Your one month and one day older than me, hows that for a pointless fact?

Oh I'm very, very young. In fact I think I am the youngest member on here.

Ooops I forgot I'm not even a vrs owner until another 46 days

im 28, feel like im 10yrs old every time im out in it tho. (had to watch how i worded that, didnt want to look like a gary glitter)

I think you might well find it surprising just how old some of us are.

The Fabia vRS isn't a 'Boy Racer' car, I would imagine that a large percentage of owners are just looking for a bit of sensible fun. Many have already done the Scooby thing and realised it's not all it's cracked up to be.

I got my first Fabia just before I turned 22. The vRS arrived when I was 25.

However my dad got his vRS when he was 55 - about 4 months after I got mine.

The reason I haven't got any hair is it gets rubbed off on the headlining going over speed bumps. Nothing to do with age, really ...

Ordered when i was 18, Arrived now and im 19.

Spot on! I'm currently on the Civic Type-R thing and after 30months the novelty of averaging 28mpg and doin 8250rpm has worn off. I still want the fun but i also want something more discreet and that won't leave my ears ringing after a long drive.

I'm 25 btw.
