seems easier than the old double prong removal tool jobbies, its the VCDS programming thats the problem, that and adding the GPS, what about the DAB, thats a special aeriel too int it

None of those are difficult problems...

- VCDS programming is easy and I'm sure a local member would help.

- The GPS antenna is super easy. Most use a third party one either in the dash or attached to the front screen.

- The DAB antenna also isn't a problem, plenty of third party ones although not sure of quality.

 

Even if you did it properly and added the appropriate OEM antenna, it's not a hard job. You'll need to run two antenna cables up the A pillar to the rear of the car and replace the antenna. Can't be more than a couple of hours work.

 

Stop worrying, just make a decision and go with it ;)

Have no idea but don't think so - dongle alone - without subscription - is completely useless.

regarding Mk2 superbs (pre-FL and FL) are all the units interchangeable?
