Quick!!! Lock the thread before theres a massive debate about the pros and cons of each spline type :D

You would normally use a Woodruff key on a tapered shaft.   :peek:

Why oh why would you want to use a Woodruff key on a tapered shaft?

(Gets coat, makes sharp exit and hides in a corner) :peek:

Thankyou Robjon now to find one on the net

You can buy common sizes of key steel and just cut the length you require.

I do have access to various sizes if you can't find what you are looking for.

Simple solution - get a few geese. Fresh eggs, close cropped grass, great burglar alarm ,and come Xmas- no more chasing round for a bird for the table.

  • 3 weeks later...

I take the yorkshire approach to grass cutting - she wants grass /lawn, then ,lawn mower is in shed- power lead is in shed- connect th two together and go cut.

Or lock it before it turns out to be a thread about why it would have been better to buy a Strimmer or it's organic counterpart, 'the goat'

Ooops just realised we bypassed goats and went straight for geese :D

OMG! That is so cute it hurts :)

Not only cute but intelligent (litter trained), inquisitive (do anything outside near his hutch and hes out round your feet sniffing and getting in the way) and friendly (if you sit down he will come up and stick his paws on your legs and if you stick your head in his hutch he will come and nudge you with his nose or stick his nose against yours)... I've never met a rabbit like him... And he was a rescue rabbit from the local RSPCA!!
