Not intending to race cars or fly aircraft so continuing to use free air in my car tyres :-\

Air is 79% Nitrogen.

 

Despite what is said the (tiny) benefit from using 100% Nitrogen isn't due to the gas content but due the removal of the water content in air.

Personally I find these (or similar) to be pretty good and I keep one in every car.

I can recommend the RaceX dial gauge linked in the previous posting - and you can buy a lot of beer with the £46 you save over the high-tech PCL one.  I guess I must have an ancestor from north of the wall.

I always inflate with my compressor and check with a pencil guage.

Nitrogen is a total waste of money, how do you purge any air from the tyre unless you put the whole wheel in a vacuum. Also if you top it up where would you fill it from?.
