Placed my order yesterday for a Superb Estate SE L Technology Pack 2.0 TDi 150 PS in Jungle Green metallic. So I am joining the ranks of Skoda owners.

I need to replace my current car which is a 14 year old VW Passat Estate B5.5 2.0 petrol now with 115000 miles on it. It has been a great car, big enough for the family, my dogs, my camping gear, my bicycles and my guitars, and for lugging furniture one end of the country to the other and all the materials for a couple of house refurbishments, and has always started no matter the weather and been hugely reliable over the 9 years I have owned it.

I am hoping that the Superb measures up to the Passat and hopefully surpasses it.

All I know now is that it is a lovely drive and that my children love how much room it gives them in the back seats.

Looking forward to picking up the Superb - just hope the wait isn't too long. Should find out tomorrow.

Having been in a passat, and the superb. Your passat will feel like a city hatchback inside compared! Nice choice of jungle green too, a bit more out of the ordinary for a 'barge'. Enjoy!
