Halloween is nearly here

Sadly linked these days to the awful US "tradition" of "Trick or Treat".

 

Normally I keep a hose pipe hanging out over the front door, but this year I thought I would be more subtle, and give them all toffee-onions.

 

Which do you think would be best, fresh or pickled??

Toffee onions haha :) made me giggle quite a bit!

I normally plunge the house into darkness and set the cctv up on the iPad, in case any master bakers turn up with their eggs and flour.

Our front door bell is wired up to the mains, failing that Mrs G can sort em'

 

 

Mrs G, scary, very scary

Like a sign , my SIL has on the front door"DoN'T WORRY ABOUT THE DOG, LOOK OUT FOR THE WIFE".

ToT is Guising lite.

 

Guising when I was a yoof meant you had to tell a joke, sing a song or do some other party piece before you got your sweeties or cash.

 

We earned our rotten teeth dammit.

they still do around our way

 

if they turn up I say "well what are you doing?" and my wee man has to go out primed with jokes
