SE Sport (Front Seats)

Featured Replies

I've been looking at getting a SE Sport but can't find one locally to have a test drive in.

Are the front seats similar to those in the vRS? Do they come with Lumbar Adjustment?

Thanks

Lee

They are very similar to the VRS Seat, we have a MK3 VRS and an SE Sport. Both come with height adjustment and lumbar support. I find the SE Sport seats quite supportive as I have a bad back I like a taller back rest. In terms of trim colour I have seen both and plumped for the silver/grey finish rather than the red trims. I have to say the trim looks better in the flesh than in some of the pictures.

I have it. They are really great.

Looks like a seat from the Golf Parts bin... which is not a bad thing.

It's Dinamic sport package.

I dont think they can be ordered as electric and therefore they have poor lumbar support.

Yes these are the definitive back ache inducing seats. Great for an arched back....truly awful seats. In this age of ergonomics and lessons learned from volvo and saab on how to make truly comfy and supportive seats these skoda offers should be condemned.

You have it?

Had these seats in a hire car.

Truly uncomfortable and painful for me. They had no lumbar support thus the lower back was arching forward which is a no no.

It's a case of horses for courses, I find them comfortable, but given we are all different shapes and sizes it's very easy to see that others find that is not the case.

As always, the only way is to try for yourself.

Good. I recal reading on here how the standard lumbar adjusting seats in the SE/Elegance spec caused back ache for some, yet i find them pretty comfy.
