First video is the beginning of the parade.

Second video the naughty part going back to the starting line (45 to 120ish mph sprint #keeping up with supercars) :)

Thanks for posting, do you still get the odd look of amazement?

I assume that the location of the event is a secret, but maybe the collection of Tristars is a clue........

Cheers, DC.

Not a secret at all, advertised quite a bit actually :

I do get people come and ask what engine I have in there. When I say a 2 litre most don't believe me... Especially combined with the naughty tdi badges on the car ;)

I'll wager you're glad you swapped your number plate.......otherwise your 'dark' secret might have been revealed?

Only now at the end, etc

Love it!

Some cars still missing but this should give you an idea.

Most cars seemed to be modified (at least exhaust but most likely tuned too).

Hmmm.... Skoda Superb 177mph &  GT3 RS 174mph!

Something's wrong here (and I don't mean your TDI badges!)

It just gets better!

So your sleek Superb, unencumbered by whale tail spoiler, accelerates faster and stronger over a shorter distance than a light weight and totally focussed Porsche?

You must be delighted, but tell me.... did you remove your brolly from its stowage before your run to improve your power to weight ratio?

The RS was not the latest model. According to this the 2011-2014 mode does the 1/4 mile in 11.8s: http://www.torquestats.com/index.php?car_id=609

I did it in 11.4 before the methanol injection kit and the latest remap so, if your reply above was not sarcastic (cannot always tell :) ), then yes, my superb seems to be a little faster even with the umbrellas in the door stowage.

Note (to prove that I am not deluded): It would certainly kill me if corners were involved!

Genuinely no sarcasm at all. Yours is a wonderful car and this is a detailed account with great imagery. I just adore the fact that you haven't compromised on comfort by stripping the car out and yet you've achieved such staggering results.

I hope you keep us in the loop as you develop your car further and thank you for your updates - just fab!

Car was full weight on Saturday including a passenger (albeit much lighter than myself :) )

Will certainly keep you updated. Fully forged engine and DSG oil cooler to be installed in a couple of months' time for plans of close to 600. TBC!

Lol, typo on the original Honda Del Sol result then

Yep! Shame, it would have been interesting. Well, at least this made me the only sleeper there.

And the only Skoda to run for at least the last 3 years (maybe more but they only have results from 2014 online).

Now if the famous Yeti joins me next time!!!

Shame you couldn't make the pod last weekend... the conditions were good!

I think 2017 will be seeing some awesome builds hit the strip!!
