Next Car... Any plans from Skoda for a new Rapid Spaceback ???

We have had the Spaceback SE Sport MY16 car since January now, I need to start thinking about its replacement next year ordering mid to late summer depending on lead times etc in order to not delay switch over day.

First question.. are there any plans for a new Rapid ?? i have seen details of a new 2018-2019 Skoda Rapid, think i would can get another one... but if not released by then it would be a shame and not ideal to order the same again...

Thoughts..

Recent comnent on here says our trade-in values suck. How much can you afford to lose - is it worth waiting an extra year for a new or facelifted one?

Mine has just stated breaking down regularly at 2.5 to 3 years old.

Which turns out to be turbo failure at only 25k

Ouch, yours is the Petrol Toledo right?

I have a 13 reg Toledo 1.6 Diesel on 120k km and no problems with it at 3 years old.

I lease this car on a fully maintained contract, so zero worries about resale..  plus i checked on we buy any car last week out of interest and at 9 months old and 5k miles, they offered around £9k.. so a near 50% £9k in 10 months .
