How much engine oil does your car take between two service intervals? Mine seems to be running on engine oil and not on diesel.

I have flexible service interval and until now I changed the oil always at 30.000 km. First time didn't took engine oil almoast at all. Second time It took something like 500 ml on the whole 30.000 km interval. Now I have 85.000 km on odometer and it is the second time that I have to fill up with oil. Almoast 1liter since last oil change, at 60.000 km.

Isn't that a little bit too much?

No. One litre of oil consumption in 25000km is not bad. In fact it is very low.

1 litre is not something to be concerned about over that distance. My MK2 fl tsi vrs used a litre every 1.5-2k miles!

Only had the MK3 for 2k but it doesn't seem to have used any yet.

I was thinking it is strange that the oil consumption increased with the mileage.

Anyhow I will change the car in june, so hopefully won't have any problems until then.

Check the oil and other fluids plus tyre pressures at reasonable intervals.

Don't just rely on warning lights.You may pick up on problems before they become significant.
