I am new to the Skoda Roomster.  When I first had the car 2nd hand 3 months ago the interior lighting worked OK.  now I find that the interior lights do no go out when the doors are shut.  I have tried the switch in all three positions and they only go off in the middle OFF position.

The dash warning light for open doors goes off OK.

Can anybody advise Please

Mine only go off when locked

Same here, the light goes out once the door is locked.

Do you mean don’t go off at all, or there is a delay

 

Check to see if the doors are locking, might be a sticky actuator or door switch

Look for a tiny hole where WD40 can be squirted in to sort lock problems, for door switches just check they are ok, not dislodged etc. (Might sound daft by bits of snow squashed in doors could have caused it)
