Unfortunately the best you'll get out of that is basic OBD2 access, i.e. basic errors etc.

You mean will work? What about software run on win 10?

You'd be able to run generic ODB2 applications on your computer however for approx €50 you can purchase an OBDEleven bluetooth dongle and with an Android tablet or phone, you can run diagnostics and make adaptations on your car.

I purchased a cheap knock off VCDS cable for my old Fabia which was perfect however for MK3 Octavia's you need the correct HEX+CAN cables from RossTech or OBDEleven.
