Any thoughts?

I'd change fuel filter to be sure.

Had a chat with the local garage today, he suggested it was perhaps the flywheel. I hope not. I have no other symptoms than when hard accelerating, gear changes are smooth and it doesn't happen every time.

Having done two DMFs on two different cars the first symptom of a failing DMF has been a distinctive clunk when the engine starts...

Not noticed a clunk when starting.will listen out tomoz. Seems to be intermittent as well.

Does it hesitate at the same kinda revs/gear? My old one was doing that, then it went mental once and reved on its own! Noticed there was too much oil in sump, (pos fuel oil mix)  so got shut last week and bought a petrol before it got expensive. Injector or dpf problems I was thinkin.

Garage said it was my crank position sensor & replaced. Seems better...
