Fabia estate trade in on a PCP

Featured Replies

What sort of deals do dealers give if you want to trade in a 3 year old fabia estate for a new one?

Dealers will do any deal you want! What you are asking, I think is, how much is your car worth? Correct me if I'm wrong. Skoda's tend to hold their value very well over a three year period, that's why pcp guaranteed future values are quite high. You can trade it in against a new one and use any residual value in your old car against the new one as a deposit. You don't have to pay the GFV to do that, just choose a new car and hand yours back using any residual value as your deposit. Of course, it may be advisable to put some extra cash into it as well since that may push your monthly payments down if you want to do that.

Ta, that's really invaluable! I am in the process of acquiring a new wee Fabia estate on a pcp and my intention is to hand it back in three years time and get another. Hopefully I can get keep my repayments down as much as possible.
