Doors unlocking

Featured Replies

I've tried to search this but I'm struggling to find an answer. We have just collected our VRS estate and I don't like it automatically unlocking.

Can you stop the car automatically unlocking the doors when the ignition keys removed?

Many Thanks Adam

Can you elaborate? Do you want to be able to sit in the car, take the key out of the ignition but keep the doors locked? I can't quite see how that would be beneficial.

Yes every other car I've owned has stayed locked when the keys removed, nice for the car to stay locked whilst the misses puts the steering lock on etc.

See your point. I'm not certain this can be done, but I'm sure someone will confirm if it is possible.

Undoubtedly possible with vcds, I'm not sure how though.

Is "auto-unlock" not an adjustable setting on the MIB Display?

car>settings>convenience(or locking) >auto-unlock>off

or something like that.
