Bluetooth media audio doesn't work?!

Featured Replies

Youtube doesn't seem to send any audtio on my Galaxy S7. Phone audio works fine, and media from android auto works too.

I've tried to pair the S7 with my laptop and youtube app correctly sends audio to my laptop.

What's going on? How to fix?

can't say about Youtube, but with Waze voice over Bluetooth is gone since Note 4 got Android 6.0 upgrade,
with stock Android 5.? were ok.
On car's speakers Waze's messages can be heard only during phone call.
Solution were setup Waze to use phone's internal speaker, phone and other media still works over Bluetooth.

Quite a few threads on here about issues with Samsung phones, get an iPhone:tongueout:

Turns out I need to select bluetooth as an audio source. Pro tip: press media button multiple times to switch source. Doooh!

I sometimes use Bluetooth audio, but it took me ages to realise that BT refers to the connection and not my mobile phone provider
