Can't put a 17 plate on a 66 plate car, MET 30R isn't available

What a farce with Skoda UK / CZ & the UK Main Dealership with a halo model.

Time that Skoda UK had your car in the hands of experts to see where the fault lays and know for the future what parts do need replacing and

maybe changing in their Factory production.

AG, you remember those fruit pastilles you were eating in the car that day? Well....my expert opinion is that a boulder like grain of sugar got lodged in between the steering boss and column, every time you move the wheel it's causing this grinding noise.  Just inform SUK and your dealer that I've diagnosed the fault.  You're welcome.

Sounds a bit poo this. I hope they get to the bottom of it and fix it soon.

The Hospital have ordered a new e-diff, hopefully this will fix it.

Hi AG, don't suppose you have any recordings of the noise?

I've recently noticed a noise whilst turning which I swear wasn't there before ... Could be nothing / paranoia!

Happens in both directions, but it's not at full lock. It's kind of a quiet rubbing / grinding sound.

This quiet rubbing I have from the first time, notice it sometimes. Doesn't sound as a problem, more as a normal thing.

In all she's had 2 sets of CV Joints, 2 full sets of Drive Shafts, new Wheel Bearings, a new Mechanical Diff, Gear Box out and replaced and finally a new e-Diff.

Sounds like a problem to me, certainly not normal........

I am not worried, let it gets broken if it means a problem. Have a long 5 year warranty.

I have never before had a car with torque vectoring, some kind of noise must exist in 5 clutches rubbing against each other in VAQ, IMHO. In my case it is very soft, doesn't sound harmful, therefore I don't care.

But not a loud grating sound when turning the steering wheel  :shake:

Definitely not loud. I was referring to the post above mine, not about your issue, sorry if it sounded misleading.

No problem, I hope you just don't get the same problems I've had with mine. 4 months to finally fix it..................
