Looks very good. You'd think it was an optional extra with it fitting in so well

where did you get that from?

Thanks, yeah I like that it's subtle enough to look like it could have been factory fitted :)

Same place that @BATVANVRS got his from and recommended. Came direct from Germany.

Just typical that the week after I got mine there have been 10% and 20% discount codes on eBay this past week!

That's good it's an ebay purchase.

I've seen a few of the rear diffusers and the front splitter kits, but they look a bit over the top. There's putting a subtle tweak on and then there's being daft. Some I've seen, like the DTM esk kits, just make you stand out to the plod.

Like I say, that one looks good and fits in.

Anyone got a pic of a Reiger showing the extra tube for a tractor? I can't find a manual for how it is fitted, so struggling to visualise where it goes, and whether it can be seen when someone is following you.

Cheers

it cant. but you can notice the lack of back box the image below has the extension welded as per Riegers instructions to prevent any damage to the diffuser.

if you need instructions you need to chop off the right hand pipe as its oval and the rieger extension wont fit over it. You will need a 1mm cutting disc on a grinder and a mig to weld it on. A specialists should be able to do this for you cheaply, i did my own as i have the tools if you need a picture i have the old back box lying in the garage?

Thanks. That sounds like a pain. Saw several videos of changing the diffuser, none showed the bit about the pipe. I'll have to pay someone to do that. WIsh i'd known, would not have ordered it :(

its actually a skoda design fault, when i took off the old OEM diffuser it was melted, the right hand pipe is not long enough and im guessing when you are idling/regen and the engine is hot the exhaust fumes are not exiting though the tip but up and behind it melting the plastic. The Rieger extension allows the exhaust fumes to exit out the tip

Right, I need to get my ass in gear & order the Rieger rear diffuser!

I’ve looked through this thread again, & I still think my Octy will benefit from one of these bad boys!

Will also paint the exhaust tips satin black......mmmmmmm.

My Rieger diffuser arrived today!

Gonna try & fit this at the weekend.

However, even though I specified the TDI version, there is no exhaust pipe extension supplied.

Not a great problem, as I can get my hands on some heat shield material, but is this something that was in the polythene bag or box?

you need to ask for it separately 15 euro (afaik). it will melt, i ran mine without for a week and it was enough to bubble the area directly above it

I had that too, took quite a few emails to get it sent over.

That was after they sent me two front splitters instead of a front and a rear.

Hi folks. Today I managed to snag for a cheap price used Rieger rear diffusor, but it looks like it’s missing something. Do i need to put dome spacers where screws go? Can someone tell me the dimensions and how many i need them (or send me manual how to install it maybe)? Thanks.

Reviving an old thread - I'm looking to get a Rieger rear diffuser for my 245 hatch. How have yours all fared?
