I ordered the new motor there 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything about a build number or date of arrival, whats your experience on that?

I'm assuming ill here in a week or 2 as they were expecting between 8-10 weeks until arrival.

When I bought mine the dealer said I wouldn't hear from him for months i.e. a couple of weeks off the delivery date. Suggest you call him and find out the anticipated delivery date. I don't know what the current build times are.

Ordered mine 11th February. Picked it up 1st April. L&K with lots of extras.

That's good going, I waited four months for mine this time last year.  

Ordered end October. Delivered to dealer early January, collected mid January. Factory build because of extras

For Ireland I would estimate  10 to 12 weeks from order to delivery, maybe a little less if you are lucky .

You won't get much feedback from the dealers in my experience , maybe a phone call when it's off the boat in Dublin...

Mine took 15 weeks for a factory order SEL estate with no extras.

Hi all, as I mentioned elsewhere, ordered week 13/2017 production planned week 28/2017, another 4 weeks until delivery in Switzerland.

2.0 TSI 220 PS Estate, lots of goodies (leather, sunroof, tow hook, Canton, Columbus, sunset, all possible "Assistants" etc etc.)

Wow - I've just ordered an estate version of the L&K (4x4 280PS DSG) with no extras other than metallic paint and the crew protect assistant/rear airbags and was told by the broker to expect a delivery in September. Four months vs your wait of less than two.

Heres hoping he's wrong - and its quicker! Not holding my breath though - my last Superb estate took eight months.

Still no build week or number. Its 6 weeks since I placed the order. 

Ordered mine in January and was told 12 weeks, actually got the car on the 28th March which was just about 10 weeks. Heard nothing from the dealer from placing the order until about 10 days before collection, which was when the car arrived at the port apparently.

I ordered on the 12th April and was told 12 - 14 weeks. I now have a build week of 25.  So should be with me Mid July.  Went for an L&K 280 estate with Tow Bar, Camera, Spare and heated steering wheel.

So Ill probably be the same as you then with mid July. Mine is pretty standard spec.

I ordered my new car on 9th May and was told as it has lots of extras that it will be around 16 weeks :( 

 

1.4tsi SEL Executive dsg, in Petrol Blue + Beige Alcantara seats, with heated windscreen and washers, rear view camera, front parking sensors, colour maxidot, traffic sign recognition, LED package plus, KESSY, Bluetooth phonebox/charging.

 

So if correct, should arrive just in time for 67 Plate change in Sept. - Oh what a wait !! , part of me wanting it earlier but then would like the 67 reg.

 

We shall see!
