I wouldnt take a lot of notice of what confused quotes you, i used them earlier on today and then did an online quote with Norwich Union and made some changes (lowering excess, choosing courtesy car etc) and it came out cheaper than confused had said they were :confused:

My premium will be around 1100 quid but that includes a fair bit of modding as per sig, not unreasonable I suppose. The 1100 quid is almost insignificant compared to fuel, servicing and tyres though - scary really :eek:

Try Adrian Flux or Chris Knott. I pay £400 through Flux (3 points, CAI, milotec grille).

Try Admiral or Churchill they seem to be really good or Elephant

My step son had a lot of problems with them when his car was stolen, it took me a long time to sort out and thats not what you need on top of the stress of a stolen car.

It's a lottery with these insurance companies. I'm sure they have a maximum risk threshold of some sort and when they approach it they start to price certain cars or drivers out.

We use Elephant at the moment but I have had good service from Tesco and Nationwide in the past. Confused was a right rip off for us, complete waste of my time both in filling out the form and deleteing the ton of spam that followed.

I ended up with swift via confuzzled.com ANd they saved me quite a few hundred quid Insurance is a bloody lottery I tell thee.

Honestly, i have found that if you phone up instead of using these internet quote systems, they seem to be able to get the price down because they can make it more specific to you.

CONFUSED.COM is owned by Admiral group who in tern own elephant and obviously admiral and a few others i'd guess... so really you can be surpised if the quotes on confused.com dont ring true... i say the best way is to get your quote is to ring round still...

Insurance is a lottery, I'm paying more than some here; all down to post code as I have touch wood a clean lic for going on 18 years and no bumps in 6+...

Really thinking about popping into the citroen garage for a 1.1 paxo...can wring it's neck for three years around town instead.
