The water is likely to be coming in behind the windscreen rubber seal. Its possible you've got a bit of rust under the rubber (which you would ideally want to get removed and repainted). This would lift the seal and let the water run in.

There are a couple of very small drain holes in the windscreen hole that could be blocked causing water to run back in to the cabin.

It is also possible that you just need a new windscreen seal. They aren't expensive and you might even manage to change it yourself.

Try lifting the seal a little with a screwdriver or suitable trim tool to check for rust though as its the most likely cause.

@Kcha I'm pretty sure that @HeavyMetalRich is correct about the leak being related to the windscreen rubber, and/or rust in the windscreen frame.

The 2 holes you've highlighted in the picture are for "other hand drive windscreen wipers" and can be sealed with big blanking plugs and a smear of silicone bath sealant.

KenONeill thanks for the advice , i went before 1 hour to a friend and he check the rubber with water (he was inside the car and ι irrigate water to the rubber ) . So @HeavyMetalRich  and KenONeill are correct. Tommorow i ll go for messuring the windscreen and rubber just to change the rubber , is it possible to add any silicone or something else there?

2nd : do you thing that is better to seal the 2 holes or to set them as they are?

Thanks you all

I ll try to add photos of the job

@Kcha - Before you start measuring for a new windscreen seal, look at the existing one and see if there is any sign of perishing or cracking in the area that's leaking, primarily on the outside but also possibly on the inside. If the rubber is good, then you don't need a new one. If you do need a new one, they're one piece items and you just need to buy one for a Felicia. As a temporary measure, you might be able to use clear or black bathroom sealant.

Sorry about this, but I couldn't start a new paragraph on my last!? If there's no sign of perishing or cracking on the existing seal, then there must be rust under it, or glass particles from an earlier broken windscreen in the channel in the rubber, and the windscreen needs to come out to effect a repair.

!!!!

Listen ken. When my friend check the rubber he saw something on the metal (at the roof side) and he told me that there was an earlier change of windscreen!!

the photo is from the car today

Now i do not have lights (Direction indicator lamps)  so its a problem until tommorow when i turn.

The strange is that while still raining 2 days , today the car is not a pool the problem stops, and i found water (small) at drivers side but probably its from yesterday

@Kcha Well, that portion of the seal looks to be in first class condition as does the visible paint, which inclines me towards the bad seal or seat idea.

Which in turn means getting the car somewhere under cover if at all possible, and then drying it off, removing the windscreen, and cleaning the channel in the sealing rubber properly before re-installing. You should be able to find a video guide to doing that on youtube.

Having done that, you will also need to dry out the fuse box if your car is a mirror of UK ones so that the fuse box is under that side of the windscreen. There are guides to doing that on here and probably on youtube as well.

Hello again the results are

The windscreen is ok also the rubber is ok

The professinal said that probably the problem is on the filter where is the heater blower . he said that sometimes (common issue) at skoda there stacks water .

I don t know what to say. He can t check it he s only car glass prof. ?

Well the rain stops and until next service  or rain i ll wait

@Kcha Firstly, specialist glass fitters are also commonplace in the UK, to the extent that we have national companies who do nothing but glass fitting! It's good to see that your guy knows his limitations!

Next, since he's seen your cat and I haven't he may well be correct, in which case you need to make sure that the plenum under the heater intake isn't holding standing water. It's actually easier to do that by looking into it, and using some soft but thick wire to clean the drains than it is to describe!

Kcha

The housing of the blower has a rubber plug at the bottom. Clean it or remove it.

I doubt the rain came in through the ventilation grill. I recommend the following:

  • remove the windscreen.
  • check the body frame for rust, cracks, holes. There are 2 holes, one on each side, made by Skoda for draining water (see photo). The output of the holes is in the engine bay so don't plug them.
  • if the windscreen frame is not clean, repair it and paint it.
  • it is mandatory to buy a new windscreen seal. Trust me, after 15-20 years the rubber lost its properties.
  • install the windscreen

Goodmornig friends

today i went to an electrician cause the heater blow was not working yesterday evening

Forget to say that yesterday afternoon i check it as Ken said (Next, since he's seen your cat and I haven't he may well be correct, in which case you need to make sure that the plenum under the heater intake isn't holding standing water. It's actually easier to do that by looking into it, and using some soft but thick wire to clean the drains than it is to describe!) I cleaned it cause the 3 holes was complete open and there were some garbage etc . In the morning when a start the engine i tried the heater and works fine! Magician felicia.Probably it was wet fuses.

So today the electrician did the same with me (as ken said) he wet it and all the water went down the engine on the road

Second : he took off the battery to see if there was any problem (see photo) nothing there too, we wet it with a lot of water nothing hapend. Inside the spong was dry and after a few time still dry. He gives up and made a call to his friend (Sheet-iron merchant Is it correct word?) . We are going to make an appointment to check it to !!

Next step try again from the start by windscreen rubber anyway o, hope that i m helping anyone with the same problem.

All the advice here is correct. You should figure out where the water comes in first by checking the inside.

I had two felicias. Year 97 and year 98 which is still with me. Both were leaking on bottom windscreen corners. The insulation on the inside was always wet.

Afrter the silicone treatment both were ok and dry.

Not saying yours has the same problem but worth checking.

On mine there was nothing wrong with the seal just the hole it was supposed to cover, between the frame and the windscreen at the bottom cornes was too big.

Good luck.
