Just look at this picture. I'm disgusted! - I came downstairs and some local thieving b**tard had nicked my bloody Fabia lettering off the back, and the 1.9 TDI badge too!

One small consolation is they brought along some white spirit for cleaning up, and must have spent some serious time scratching off the gunk with their fingernails...

And to cap it all off they even removed my comfort badges off the side, cleaned off all the gunk, and left the lettering in a bag on my porch. :confused:

Apologies to Matt for breaking copyright laws too. :p

Now you just need clear indicator bulbs

No.. but you do get some free bluevision sidelights with every order

I haven't looked into that yet, Steve... I'm only going for the vision plus'es for the fronts at the moment, leaving the rear lights as standard for now.

I've got a stinking cold too, and I still felt the need to wash & dry the car this morning, take off those badges, and will be giving it a coat of autoglym later on before it gets dark too. [phew]

Nope - Can't be done. I'm going to spend my few hundred in December, and my car (IMHO) will be better than the (standard) Fabia vRS, maybe not in bells & whistles department, but in handling & performance... [ooh, controversial] Then I'm just going to keep my car until its worth nothing or dies... I've taken so much depreciation so far, the car can only get cheaper to me to hold on to.

Anyway, I think once Matt gets his vRS, I'll be the only chipped Fabia TDI owner here. I like the uniqueness of that.

hmm, im not sure your car would be faster than a vrs. youve got diff gearbox and bigger wheels which will count against you

True - but should have more torque too, in theory... We'll see once I get my little chart.

This is one purpose of me going to see Graeme get his vRS chipped, because it will give both of us to see what a remapped TDI can do against a standard vRS.

edited to say that I've grown a little attached to my car, almost to the point that I'd feel quite bad getting rid of it unless it really started to go wrong badly and pi55ing me off. This kind of D.I.Y / modding path has already started for me, and don't fancy going back to total standard to start on that path again...

Tis looking good mate. I do like a nice smooth rear! :p I do hope that re-map does alot for your car as the standard vRS is bloody quick with the Ultimate diesel running through it's veins!
