iPad Headrest Mounts for All in One Seats

Featured Replies

I know this has been touched on a few times but no definitive answers........

Does anyone know of a good/practical solution to mount an iPad to the headrest of the VRS seats in my Octavia or anywhere else? I have read something about a mount that goes in the cupholder on the Superb?

I have the OEM tablet mounts in my Superb, Dan.

I think the bit you are referring to is this:

The mount can be removed from the headrest section and put into the fold down arm rest in the back.

That's the one, do you know if there is anything like that available for the Octavia as I understand this is different in some way?

Not sure, what is your rear arm rest like?

It will need a square hole to allow the bracket to be held:

We used ours for the first time last w'end; great bit of kit.  Shame they don't offer a 'coupler' so you can have two mounts, one for each rear passenger.

I was considering something like this initially (seats in the Sportline are same as vRS):

I have exactly this product for my VRS, works fine and holds a big Samsung tablet OK, although you gave to be quite firm when you put it on because the slightly triangular shape of the headrest makes it want to ride up. The trick is to offset the velcro slightly at the front when you do it up (however this leaves some of the hooks exposed, so  if you happen to have quite a tall wife with very curly hair be careful if she's your passenger on long drive tell her to be careful when she gets out.....)
